From disco to techno this cat will make you move. Swoope is known for his energetic sets mixing up old skool classic house jams with the newest and catchiest filtered disco rockers! Constintly growing musicly, every time this young and talented artist gets on the wheels of steal get ready to get down, and be left wanting more.

Swoope got into djing when he was 15 or 16 years old, frequenting old Mile High parties at the Roy Wilkins and other underground dj events. It was at a rave at teh St. Paul armory when he decided djing was destined to be in his life. He immediately started collecting records and learning the tools of the dj trade. His skills brought him early dj gigs and involvement with Clean Plate Productions, and several dj gigs at The Quest let the people know what Swoope is all about—Funk and Soul!

His entry into the SIM crew allowed Swoope the opportunity to dj with the artists who he looked up to as he developed, including Christopher Lawrence, John Acquaviva, Green Velvet, Nigel Richards, Dj Icey, and Jack Trash.

Swoope’s life outside of music revolves around music as well, having recently completed his technical education with musical production and engineering, as well as becoming a natural fix-it machine for all gear related to electronic music. Love for his family rounds out Swoope’s balanced lifestyle, and only time will tell how high his musical spirit soars!
